PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is a device designed to ensure the safety and to protect the health of a person engaged in a risky activity. Our products: clothing, shoes, gloves, safety glasses, ...

Wearing this safety equipment may, in some cases, be required by law. clothing or PPE is manufactured according to mandatory standards. The outfits and accessories classified EPI are grouped in three categories:

• Category I, which protects against superficial and reversible aggressions

• Category II, which protects against serious and potentially irreversible aggression

• Category III, which protects against fatal dangers.

We have a wide range of Personal Protective Equipment, to prevent shocks, falls or inhalation of gases dangerous to health. In our catalog, you will find:

• protective gloves (leather gloves, synthetic, disposable ...), to preserve your hands from cuts and burns, as well as the passage of electric current

• safety glasses (high visibility glasses, hoods or welding masks ...), to protect your eyes from possible projections or sunlight

• helmets (helmets, visors, caps ...), mandatory on construction sites and for all work at heights

• respiratory protection (disposable masks, reusable, integral ...), to stop the dust and the harmful emanations

• hearing protection (earplugs, noise-canceling helmets, etc.) to reduce the impact of noise pollution

• fall protection (safety harness, carabiners, bindings ...)

• protective clothing (anti-hot or anti-cold, high visibility ...)

• knee pads, etc.

Standards for clothes

EN 342: Protection against cold.

This standard establishes the criteria and methods of control of articles of clothing to protect against cold.

Each product is classified according to different values: the insulation index (Y) the air permeability (AP) and the possible impermeability (WP).

EN343: Certified products that protect against wind and weather.

This standard indicates the minimum values to be met by work clothes that can be used in all weathers.

An EN343 certified workwear protects you from rain and snow while breathing. It allows to evacuate moisture and perspiration from the body.

EN ISO 20471: Visible clothing.

The EN ISO 20471 certification is a standard for visible workwear.

An EN ISO 20471 garment ensures the safety of the employee who wears it, allows him to concentrate totally on his task, visible from day to night and from everywhere, including from the back, where it is difficult to orient himself. An EN ISO 20471 safety garment does not have any reflective or fluorescent material that can blind.

NF EN ISO 11611: Protection during welding.

The standard of writing the minimum requirements for protective clothing used during welding and related activities.

Class 1: RHYTI 24> 7s CLASS 2: 24> 16s. class 2 being the best protection.

NF EN ISO 11612: Protection against heat and flame.

This standard describes soft fabric garments designed to protect the wearer's body, except hands, from heat and / or flame. Out cap, leggings, head products, hands and feet.

NF EN ISO 14116: protection against heat and flame.

This standard specifies the functional requirement for materials, material combinations and protective clothing against limited flame spread to reduce the spread of ignition in the clothing, which would be a risk.

NF IEC 61482-2: Working under voltage.

Workwear against the thermal risk of an electric arc.

The IEC 61482-2 standard includes two test methods.

With method 1 (open arc test), the fabric and clothing are tested and the ATP / EBT value of the garment is determined.

With method 2 (taught test), the class of protection against electric arcs of fabric and clothing is determined using a controlled and forced electric arc; there are two classes. The class being the upper class offering better protection.

NF EN 1149-3 / 5 Protective clothing with electrostatic properties.

EN 1149-3: 2004 electric discharge

This standard describes the dissipation of the electrostatic charge of the clothing surface.

EN 1149-5: 2004 Performance and design, materials

This standard describes the requirements for

EN 13034 - Protective clothing against liquid chemicals

This standard describes the functional requirement for chemical protective clothing that provides limited protection against small amounts of liquid chemicals (Type 6 and PB equipment [6]). Chemical protective clothing with limited performance is intended for use in the event of potential exposure to light spatter, sprays of liquids or low-pressure, low-volume sprays.

ISO 15797 Your garment can be washed industrially

Industrial washing and treatment methods for testing work clothes. The standard specifies the test methods and equipment to be used to evaluate whether the materials of the workwear are suitable for industrial washing.
